Big sky
This photo of the foothills of Mt. Whitney Range was taken along Route 395 north of Lone Pine. It was taken close to the Colorful hills photo, but this time I used a wide-angle lens to push back the mountains and give a sense of the big sky and the vast mountain range. Winter, 1998.
